3 intriguing practice pillars for the New Change Era

In post: “Will you join our paradigm-shifting initiative?” we remarked:

“…we are in the midst of a transition. Our society, and all industries, sectors, organizations and businesses within, is in transition. This transition causes that existing practices of developing and changing people, businesses, systems and organizations rapidly grow out of date. Professionally, we risk becoming out of business. We want to be ahead of things. Therefore, our initiative.”

This does me remember times when I guided children and teenagers on hikes through mountains.

Once we hiked up onto a mountain and it was already late. We wanted to be back home before dark however a big barrier blocked our way up. Big boulders blocked our path. Going around them needed a detour of more than an hour. Unacceptable. We were with little kids, age 7 and up. They couldn’t climb up the boulders. The elder teenagers tried to help them by pushing them up, but still the little ones couldn’t get on higher grounds. We couldn’t move beyond the barrier. An impasse.

What to do?

Two teenagers came up with an idea. They climbed up onto the boulder themselves first. Next, they pulled up all the rest one by one. It seemed pulling up works much better than pushing up.

The same counts for the transition society is in. It is better to pull people, businesses, systems and organizations into the New Change Era than to push them. Only on top of the boulder you see where to guide kids to after pulling them up. This information you lack when pushing. When you know about the New Change Era it becomes much easier to guide your clients and businesses into it.

In fact, what we will explain to you soon would never came up into our minds if we hadn’t visited the New Change Era before. Again, you cannot see the path ahead on the boulder when you’re down at the boulder.

So, we discovered three pillars for development and change professionals to build their practices on.

These three pillars are core to our initiative where we shift the paradigm in practicing development and change of people, businesses, systems and organizations. By co-creating these pillars in our community, we enhance our professional practices with the necessary concepts, methods and tools we use to guide our clients, businesses and organizations through the societal transformation and beyond.

When we unite in developing these pillars we just can wait for seeing ourselves arrive in the New Change Era. Just join, wait and see.
